Why you should never skip leg day

So many people neglect working out their legs as we are constantly walking but this is not enough as much we all wish it was. With the below exercise routine there is no excuse for not working on those pins.

Strong legs are so important, apart from looking aesthetically pleasing, they are what keep you moving all day long. Exercising your legs also helps with balance, agility, functional movements and preventing osteoarthritis.

Let’s do it

I have created this easy to do work out routine to get those legs Summer ready. The only equipment needed is a mat and you can do this in the comfort of your own home.

By starting to add these exercises to your daily workout, you might not see the difference straight away but you will feel it and see improvements with time. Just remember, persistence will lead to perfection!

Exercise routine

Bodyweight squats

Forward lunges (alternating legs)

Wall sit/squat

Bird dogs (Alternating Reach & kickback)

Donkey kicks (alternating legs)

Lying side leg lift (alternating legs)

Mountain climb (alternating legs)

Glute bridge

10 reps of each exercise and each side of the body (no cheating)

“Don’t stop! You can do it!”

Now repeat 3 times
